Culpeper County Parks & Recreation's 2nd Annual Moonlight Egg-stravagant Candy Hunt
Open to ages 2-12 (no residency restrictions), this is a FREE community event!
Come join the Parks & Recreation staff & volunteer for a fun night of Spring candy hunting and activities.
When the gates open we will have activities to keep everyone occupied. Enjoy music by a local DJ, community Volunteer Vendors will be providing activities, some craft artisans will be on site showing off their creations, and there will be a SHOW!!! Will it be a magican, a puppet show, or music?!? You'll have to wait to see!
Gates open at 6:00pm vendors and Parks & Recreation staff & volunteers will have a variety of activities for your child to participate in.
Show will start around 6:45pm/7:00pm
Candy Hunt will start at 7:30pm and will be broken into age groups 2-5, 6-9 and 10-12.
Each age group will be assigned to a designated football field to hunt for candy. Be sure that you bring a flash light!
Each field will have a "Golden Egg." The child that finds the golden egg will get a special prize.

6:00pm - Gates Open - Activities Available
7:30pm - Egg hunt begins.
***As a reminder, all participants must pre-register for this event so the Easter Bunny know how much candy to leave.
Rain Date - Friday April 7th, 2023
Volunteers: open to anyone ages 13 & up. ages 13-15 must be accompanied by an adult.
Volunteers will assist with check in, crafts, activities, traffic flow, being the easter bunny, and candy hunt field management (helping keep kids on the correct field).
