Volunteer Opportunity: Inaugural Cultural Heritage Festival in Fauquier County
Join us for the inaugural Cultural Heritage Festival in Fauquier County, organized by Fauquier County and the Town of Warrenton Parks and Recreation! This exciting event aims to celebrate and embrace the rich tapestry of cultures within our community while educating attendees about the diverse heritage we all share.
Event Details:
Date: April 27th, 2025 (12pm-4pm, set up from 9:30am-11:30am and tear down from 4:00pm-5:30pm)
Location: Warrenton Aquatic and Recreation Facility at 800 Waterloo Rd, Warrenton, VA 20186
Volunteer Roles: We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help ensure the festival runs smoothly. Your support will be critical in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for all attendees. Here are some of the ways you can help: Flyer Distribution: Hand out festival flyers at the entrance to welcome guests and provide information about the event. Set Up & Tear Down: Assist with event setup before the festival starts and help with tear-down after the event concludes. Litter Patrol: Help maintain a clean and inviting festival space by assisting with litter patrol throughout the event.
Community Leader Participation: We are also reaching out to community leaders who would like to contribute to the festival by: Setting up an information booth to share insights about your culture. Conducting a demonstration to showcase cultural traditions, crafts, or culinary skills. Sharing stories, history, or experiences that reflect the rich diversity of our community.
