Piedmont Smiles is a free community dental day event, taking place on October 18, 2025. It is a one-day, pop-up event that will provide free dental care to members of our community — including Fauquier, Rappahannock and surrounding areas. Patients can register, see dental professionals, and get dental treatment, all at no cost to them.
We are anticipating a large need for volunteers for this event; whether you’re a dentist, a doctor, or a neighbor, you can lend a hand! Professional volunteer opportunties for dentists, dental assistants, MD's and Nurses can be found here.
All current general/lay volunteer opportunities and shifts are listed below. If any interest you, click on the "respond" key and if you do not have a user account with letsvolunteer.org, you will be re-directed to set one up. If you have any questions about volunteering, please contact our Volunteer Hub Manager. We would love to have you join us on the big day!
Volunteers in this area will be available to assist with setting up and breaking down equipment, tables, chairs etc.
Responsibilities/Activities:
• Receive guidance of all set up and/or breakdown activities
Supervision:
• Logistics Leader
Qualifications:
• Ability to lift over 15 lbs and tolerate physical labor
Training:
• To be provided during orientation
