We are celebrating National Trails Day this year with many volunteer opportunities to help with small projects along some of our county trails.  

National Trails Day is June 1 from 8a-12p and the only nationally coordinated event designed to unite all muscle-powered trail activities with the goal of connecting more people to trails.  Small projects along trails in all parts of the county need your help.  Stenciling mileage on trails, mulching, prepping area for installation of a fitness station and removing old landscape fabric are a few of the projects.  Families, Boys Scouts, Girl Scouts, students and citizens are all welcome!  If interested please respond to the volunteer opportunities below or for more information call 540-422-8555.
