Welcome to the Fauquier Habitat for Humanity ReStore!
We are excited you would like to volunteer with us.
Volunteer to be a ReStore Customer Experience Hero and ensure customers have a great shopping experience, as you:
- Welcome Restore visitors
- Guide customers through shopping experience by answering questions and guiding them to the correct department
- Assist customers through the purchase process in coordination with the cashier
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of aisles and merchandise
- Arrange/create attractive displays to increase sales
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal skills/friendliness
- Knowledge of building materials and home improvement is a plus, but not required
- Ability to stay on feet for extended period of time
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment
- Willingness to help a diverse customer base
- Self-motivated
- Outgoing personality
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Willingness to learn and communicate Habitat’s mission to ReStore visitors
