We are hosting a volunteer event to assemble and install a USDA High Tunnel Agricultural structure to be used for AgroForestry, growing medicinal forest understory crops and plants in the pin and oak forests on the farm. The High Tunnel will be the place to start the plants that will later be transplanted in the understory of the forests.
Volunteers will help us build/assemble this 50' x 40' structure made with steel pipes and a plastic cover. It requires no special skills but it is a team effort and we need your help. We will show an instructional video at 10 when the day begins and then we'll get started!! Come join us enjoy the fresh air, the joy of starting and finishing a project followed by lunch and fellowship!
